I would like to obtain a M.S. degree in Mental Health Counseling. I work full time and travel often with my job, so an online degree program would be most suitable for me. I am trying to determine if obtaining an online degree in this field of study would be respected. When I go to apply for jobs as a counselor would this make me less competitive than someone who obtained the same degree in residence?

How prestigious is getting a Masters in English from the University of Phoenix? Is it looked on as a credible degree or not really? What other online schools are more prestigious or available?

Is an online degree looked down upon, even if it is from an accredited school? In addition, what are the chances of finding a decent job that would make the debt be worth it? Could I be accepted to an offline law school after getting a bachelor’s online?

I am currently attending an online college and a friend of mine told me that a lot of businesses will not accept online degrees, that they aren’t accredited. I was wondering if anyone has received a degree from an online college and had no problems getting a job. I am going for my degree in medical administration. Any help here would be appreciated. I am attending online because I am a stay at home mother.

I’ve been looking into them lately and I’m wondering what is the general price. Is it the same as on-campus schools or is it less?
