Do companies actual choose someone with an online degree if they are up against someone with a degree from a “real life” college or university. I’m asking b/c I keep debating it for myself. And, what in what fields are online degrees most accepted? I am also not asking about taking a few courses online from a university, I’m talking about those strictly online programs.

I am currently a student at a college in my hometown. I do not want to move anywhere, but I do not like my college at all. I have about 12 credit hours just in basic classes, most are remedial-so I dont even think they are transferable. Do you know of ANY school that offers an online program to obtain a AA or BA in Secondary Education-English/Language Arts? MY GPA is low right now because I have not done too well in the previous semester at my current school. Dealt with numerous family problems and unfortunately it affected my grades Im really looking forward to getting back on track though! Does anyone know any schools or online programs that will accept me and offer all 4 years or atleast the first 2 years towards my degree?
