Ok, my mom wants to get a degree online but she not sure if its as good as a real degree, she thinks if she trys to get a job with an online degree no workplace will take her seriously. She thinks that some workplace will tell her an online degree isnt good enough, Is it?

I think that you will find that online degree programs are a lot like campus programs. Just as a degree from some campus schools are not viewed as favorably as others – the same is true online. Just like you wouldn’t decide to attend the first school you visit, you shouldn’t choose to take classes online from the first school you contact without looking into other options.
The number of programs offered online continues to grow drastically as more colleges realize the benefits of distance learning. Many schools will not indicate whether a degree is earned online or on campus. I would contact a number of schools to see which is the best fit for you – your schedule, tuition, and reputation of the school. I would also make sure that any school you contact is accredited. This site appears to have good information on accredited degree programs and some schools for you to begin your search. Best of luck to your mom.

She’s right to have that concern
Please steer clear of those online, for-profit schools such as penn foster, university of phoenix, capella, keiser, strayer, devry, walden, kaplan and others as they are merely out to ‘make a profit’: http://www.capellauniversitysucks.ushttp://www.ripoffreport.com and can type into search.
Please do adhere to traditional colleges and uni’s that happen to offer online classes. US colleges: http://www.utexas.edu/world/univ
If you’re referring to me, I was suggesting that your mother take online courses from a traditional college that offers them as opposed to those less reputable online schools according to most employers including strayer, university of phoenix, capella and such
