I am a mother of two and have a full time daycare. I am wanting to use nap time and evening to pursue an online degree, but I have no clue what I should go for. I hate math so accounting is out. I want to make sure I can get a good paying job when I am done.

Just make sure very sure what ever you choose is regionally accredited a national accreditation will not 1. transfer in most cases to another school 2. not generally recognized by privet sector employers 3. usually much more expensive than brick and mortar schools.

I would recommend reading “What Color is Your Parachute?”. It is a very helpful book, and will help to guide you in the right career direction. Also, at your local library, you can find a specific book to many various careers and what they pay, and also how much education is required. The librarian can tell you the name of it, all libraries carry it. Good luck!

In terms of academics and prestige, and pretty close to the best in terms of cost as well, the Harvard Extension school AA degree:http://extension.harvard.edu/2008-09/pro…
In terms of cost the cheapest is probably your local CC – most have on-line programs these days.
Thanks
